LBoard - Student Driver Log 2.8

This app is a useful tool for teen drivers who are on a learner permit and need to keep track of their driving log. It offers two modes for tracking trips: auto-track and manual entry.

In auto-track mode, the app automatically records trips in the background. When launched, the app presents any detected trips to the user, which can then be added to their driving log. It's important to note that the app does not track current location while a trip is in progress, ensuring that the actual route is not recorded and saving device battery. Night driving time is automatically calculated based on the starting location.

It's worth mentioning that there might be a slight delay in showing the last trip on the app after reaching your destination. This intentional delay is in place to avoid false positives, such as stopping at a traffic light. To achieve the best results, it is recommended to enable auto-detect before starting a trip and disabling it only after the trip has been recorded, especially if you drive occasionally.

Alternatively, trips can be added manually by selecting end points on a map and entering start and end times. The app utilizes the start location to calculate night driving time. Additionally, users have the option to include notes for each trip.

An important feature of this app is its support for multiple student drivers, allowing them to track their driving logs independently.

Privacy policy: All trip data is saved on the user's device. If the app is deleted, this data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
